The Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy is pretty versatile and can hold a lot of stuff! MollieOllie asked me to try it out with my craft supplies and provided me with the caddy, free of charge.
They did not, however, ask me to only be positive about the caddy. They wanted me to be honest! And I wasn’t paid for this review.
With that said, I have had a bunch of high quality products to review lately and the Mimmo Caddy was no different. It is extremely well-made, very cute and is a great size – not too small and not too large.
I tried it three different ways with craft supplies I need to store for my electronic cutting machines (Cricut, Silhouette and ScanNCut machines):
- Extra blades, tools, markers and more for all three types of machines
- My Cricut Joy and all of its accessories
- Infusible Ink/sublimation supplies, markers, blanks, etc.

What is the Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy?
The Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy was originally designed as a diaper bag and is still sold as one. But, the caddy designers have realized that it can be used for a lot more than just diapers.
It measures 14″ L x 9.25″ W x 7″ H (15″H including the handles). It’s made of soft. chemical-free materials. The version I received has a gray felt-like exterior with a teal water-resistant interior.
The caddy comes with two removable dividers made with the interior fabric that can be attached to the interior sides with the velcro strips that are on the ends of the dividers and on three sides of the interior of the caddy.
It is very well constructed. It holds its shape when empty and you can really feel the quality of the materials, the seams, the pockets, you name it, right away. Even before I used it, I knew it was going to hold up over the long haul.
It also has a bunch of pockets and I love pockets for craft storage. There are always so many little things that I don’t have a place for.
The Mimmo Caddy has six smaller slip pockets (3 on each long side). One large slip pocket on one of the shorter ends and a very well-constructed zipper pocket on the other end. The pockets aren’t dinky either. Even the outer slip pockets can hold several markers or tools at once.
The zipper pocket has several elastic loops sewn into it to hold small items like markers, pens, tools as well as an interior slip pocket with a velcro closure. The gussets on the side of the zipper pocket allow you to store some thicker items in it and keeps it from flopping all the way open when you unzip the zipper. Nice!
Honestly, the construction is great and the size is very workable for a whole bunch of things. Plus (and possibly most importantly to me) it’s really cute!
Store Extra Blades & Accessories with the Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy
I am fortunate enough to own several electronic cutting machines from the big three manufacturers – Cricut, Silhouette and ScanNCut.
Each one of those machines has a bunch of extra blades, pens, markers, adapters, tools and more that I currently have stored awkwardly in a desk organizer. The stuff doesn’t really fit in it but it’s the best solution I could come up with without building my own or spending a bunch on a tool organizer.
I wanted to see if I could fit all of that stuff plus my round Cricut Blade Holder and most of my Cricut markers and accessories for my Cricut Maker into this caddy. It seemed like a great way to clean up my desk and one of my messy drawers.
The main part of the caddy contains:
- Round Cricut Blade Holder
- 1 roll of Brother High Tack Fabric Support Sheets for my ScanNCut
- 7 vinyl sample rings
- Silhouette Cameo Knife Blades
- Silhouette Pen Adapters
- Zoom Engraving Tip Kit for Silhouette
- ScanNCut Universal Pen Adapter
- Vinyl Blade, Fabric Blade, Rotary Blade and Chomas Creations Engraving Tip for ScanNCut
- 2 packages of small acrylic engraving blanks
- 5 acrylic ornament blanks
- We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill with extra power pack
- 30 count Cricut Marker set for Maker/Explore Air machines
- 3 additional sets of Cricut markers for the Maker/Explore Air
- Cricut Foil Transfer Tool in package for Maker/Explore Air machines
- 3 sets of foil
- Opal tool pouch (with tools) from TeckWrap Craft
The zipper pocket holds the black Cricut pen that came with my Maker and some Silhouette Sketch Pens. The large slip pocket on the back is holding an extra Fine Point Blade for my Cricut Maker, a couple of small scrapers/squeegees and the cap for my Cricut Rotary Blade. All of the smaller slip pockets contain tools. That’s a lot!
Not only did I get everything I thought I could into the caddy, there is still room to spare. Pretty awesome!
The Cricut Joy Fits in the Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy
It turns out the Cricut Joy machine fits in the Mimmo Caddy! It fits along with all of the other accessories and supplies I’ve got for it.
This is fantastic for me because I currently have my Joy sitting in a cube on my wall unit and the accessories, markers, mats, foil, cards, etc. are taking up an entire drawer in my Ikea Alex unit. They aren’t near each other or near an outlet.
If I want to use my Joy I have to get it out of the wall unit, bring it over to my desk, unwrap the cords and plug it in. Then go over and dig in the drawer to find the mat I need, the card, pen, marker, foil or whatever for my project. Then pull all of that stuff over to my desk and finally get crafting.
In terms of life problems that is extremely small, but I love the idea of having everything all together in one place and the Mimmo Caddy provided the solution:
I was able to fit:
- Cricut Joy machine and its cords
- 30 count set of markers
- Cricut Joy Foil Transfer Tool in package
- 1 package of foil
- 3 packs of Insert Cards
- 2 rolls of Smart Vinyl
- 3 4.5″ x 6″ mats and a package of Cricut Deluxe Adhesive Paper along the side
- 5 4.5″ x 12″ mats standing up in the back of the center area
I added an extra blade and a set of pen adapters and a different foiling tool from Etsy in the large slip pocket at the back. The zipper pocket holds seven Cricut Joy markers with room for more. The slip pockets on the front and back hold tools. Wow!
Plus, it’s very portable with all of the Joy stuff in it. It’s not too heavy and I can easily carry the entire thing over to a friend’s house to share my Joy (lol) or just move it around my craft room or house. Love it!!
Use the Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy for Sublimation Supplies
Since the sides of the Mimmo Caddy are 7″ H and I know from my first experiment that tall items will stand up in it, I decided to try putting my Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets into it. Those boxes are 2″ x 2″ x 12″ H and if you own a few of them like I do, you know they take up a lot of space.
I was able to fit:
- 12 rolls of Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets
- All of my Infusible Ink markers (30 count set, plus three extra packs)
- We R Memory Keepers Transfer Quills (with machine adapters)
- A bunch of sublimation blanks (coasters, cosmetic bags, mousepad, mug)
I added my Infusible Ink Joy markers to the zipper pocket and some tools to the pockets on the front and back. My heat transfer tape fit perfectly into the large slip pocket on the end. And, there was room to spare for more smaller items in the future!
You could easily fit sublimation ink bottles, extra printer cartridges and even letter sized sublimation paper into the tote instead of the blanks if have a sublimation printer. I bet it would make a nice organizer to have by your sublimation printer, if you own one.
Other Crafty Storage Ideas for the Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy
I also put rolls of vinyl into the caddy and they stood up very nicely along with my various types of transfer tape and clear folders that hold vinyl scraps. It’s not the prettiest with my slightly used bunch of vinyl rolls and scraps, but it does the job. If you don’t have too many rolls of vinyl, this could be a great solution too.
If you wanted to use it for other craft supply storage besides electronic cutting machine supplies, I think the possibilities are endless!
It could easily work as a knitting bag, sewing bag, felting bag and more. It would hold a ton of paint, glue, stamps, dies, glitter, ribbon, markers and more.
It’s not super small, so you do need a bit of space for it. But it will fit nicely into an IKEA Kallax opening or under a side table in the family room, depending on how you want to use and store it.
I also think it makes for a great portable craft station for people who don’t have a dedicated crafting space. You could pull together the products and tools you need for a project, put it all in the Mimmo Caddy and then head on over to the dining room table or wherever you are able to craft with everything right there. Easily portable and convenient.
What Do I Think of the Mollieollie Mimmo Caddy?
If my glowing language throughout the post hasn’t clued you in yet, I love the Mimmo Caddy!
As I have mentioned earlier, it is really well made, a great size, and provides a lot of storage size options between all the pockets and velcro dividers. It’s extremely versatile for holding a huge number of different electronic cutting machine supplies as well as other types of craft supplies.
Plus, it’s not expensive – especially for how nice it is and its size. I highly endorse the Mimmo Caddy and think you should definitely check it out!
