Hi there! I’m Elena Anderson, owner and designer for black sheep 303 creative, llc. I have been a creative person my entire life. I was a residential interior designer for 6 years after going back to school for interior design (graduating in Dec. 2009) and had some good and some not so good experiences in the industry. As a result, I started this blog (with YouTube channel) in August 2016 when I needed a break from the design world. For the first 2 1/2 years, this was a “traditional” card making blog (aka stamping, dies, markers and more). Having a crafty blog was great and healing for me but with time, my heart kept wanting to explore and share my love of other types of crafts in particular those made with an electronic cutting machine, like a Cricut. As a result, this blog has evolved beyond “traditional” card making to focus on Cricut , ScanNCut and Silhouette projects along with the SVGs I create for them. But, the older “traditional” card making projects will always be here as well.
On a Personal Note…
I live in Denver, CO. I am married to my best friend, Alex, and a dog mom to our chihuahua-something rescue buddy, Django. I absolutely love animals! I am an avid reader. I LOVE to travel and snorkel whenever possible, which is NOT often enough. Weather permitting, I enjoy biking, walking, hiking and snowshoeing. I confess that I love TV and movies (escapism – yay!). My hair color changes regularly – sometimes more natural, sometimes not. I am a Type 1 diabetic (since I was 18) and not a small human (both in height and width – lol). I have struggled with my weight all my life and have finally, FINALLY!, decided that I have wasted enough time feeling bad about it. I am healthy and happy and proud of who I am!
