Chevron Birthday Card

This is a fairly simple birthday card I recently made for my dad. It is mostly layering of various paper shapes together with a just a bit stamping and a few sparkly embellishments. To keep the card somewhat masculine, I went with a basic black and white color theme with a touch of chartreusy green thrown in for extra punch.

The background was created with the My Favorite Things Chunky Chevron Cover-Up Die cut from a piece of 110 lb. white card stock I have from the office supply store sized at 5" x 3.75". I layered that piece over some Heidi Swapp patterned paper from the September Skies 6" x 6" paper pack. It is hard to tell in the photos but I did spray the galaxy patterned paper with some Heidi Swapp Shine Spray in Sheer for extra sparkle, but ultimately...
